We are off to another busy, busy day and it is not going smoothly.

However, things turn around and the busy day begins.

We are off to the market to spend oodles of money. Oodles of food for Thursday’s feast AND for tonight’s dinner party will be purchased.

We are off to Home Depot to buy a new garbage disposal. The old one is screaming in pain just in time for the holidays.

I just love a busy day. NOT!

The day is spent cooking, cleaning and working.

After a couple of hours of work on the 135 gallon fish tank that sprung a leak. We learn that it is no longer a viable tank. This tank is built into my wall and absolutely beautiful and now garbage. Oh joy !!

The garbage disposal replacement went almost problem free except for the plumber’s putty went missing. We found it sometime later, it would seem my mother-in-law put it in the freezer when she was helping me clean. OOPSY !!

Dinnertime arrives as do our guests. For dinner, I had prepared sausage lasagna, vegan pasta with meatless meatballs, zucchini bake, salad, and fresh bread.

I was quite shocked when everyone wanted to try the vegan dish.

However, most enjoyed it and this pleased me greatly.  I had prepared everything earlier in the day and, therefore, was able to sit and enjoy our company.

That was very welcome.

Tomorrow will bring plenty more work with it.
