The Mental Health Benefits of CBD.

For thousands of years, humans have used the cannabis plant for medicinal purposes. The cannabis plant contains 80 different compounds called cannabinoids, some of which are beneficial to mental well-being. In recent years, the CBD compound has become popular for epilepsy, anxiety, sleep disorders, PTSD, and many more conditions.

It has also become popular in the MLM world. This post has absolutely nothing to do with MLM. If you want to know my CBD/MLM story scroll on down to the bottom.

Now, back to our scheduled programming…

Let’s have a look at a few of the many health benefits of CBD.

Epilepsy

Epilepsy is a neurological condition that causes erratic electrical activity in the brain. This electrical activity, in turn, causes fits and seizures that can range from uncomfortable to dangerous. It is not clear what causes epilepsy, and some medications can help.

In recent years, however, it has been discovered that CBD can effectively treat epilepsy conditions. In addition, it has been shown that using CBD can decrease the severity and frequency of attacks, helping people lead more ordinary lives. Research has supported many claims.

Anxiety

Anxiety is a very common condition. There are many types of anxiety, including generalized anxiety, OCD, panic disorders and social anxiety. Most people will experience some form of anxiety at some point throughout their lives. Treatment isn’t easy, but CBD can help.

Research has revealed that CBD effectively slows down the brain. The endocannabinoid receptors in the brain respond to the presence of CBD and release chemicals that reduce stress. While more research is needed, anecdotal evidence suggests CBD is useful.

Depression

Another very common mental health condition is depression. Depression can range in severity from mild to severe. In some extreme cases, individuals might experience chronic depression that is difficult to escape from. Once again, research and evidence suggest CBD can help.

One of the reasons people experience depression is because of the lower levels of serotonin in the brain. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that influences core systems in the body, such as mood and sleep/wake cycles. CBD interacts with serotonin in the brain and affects moods.

Sleep Issues

Sleep is very important to an individual’s overall well-being.  It is during this time that the brain and body resets. Consequently, it is quite necessary to one’s overall well being.  Unhealthy sleeping patterns negatively affects mental health.

CBD may help you to get better sleep. As well, it can help to regulate sleep patterns. When sleep patterns align more closely with your natural circadian rhythms you will feel better. For example, if you ingest CBD products at sugarandkush.com, you will notice that your mind becomes sleepy and stress-free. This helps to induce sleep at night.

PTSD

PTSD stands for post-traumatic stress disorder. This is a condition characterized by re-experiencing traumatic events, intrusive thoughts, nightmares, and avoidance of triggers in the world. It can be difficult to live with PTSD, but studies show CBD can help.

CBD helps to slow down the brain and reduce the influence of intrusive thoughts.

If you want to further explore the mental health benefits of CBD speak to a professional about which products are right for you. As well, keep in mind that even natural solutions can cause side effects and can interfere with other supplements or medications that you are taking.

About That MLM

I tried MLM for a while because, at the time, it was the best CBD option the market had to offer. Then it was not so I switched companies and the band-aid was ripped off and in clear visible light was the bullshit that is MLM.

The product is still good BUT there are so many options available now! Options that are often less expensive too!

Why limit yourself to having to jump on the MLM hamster wheel?

Thanks for sharing the CBD benefits. The Victorian Government here in Australia supports the use of medical marijuana, and this is amazing!

  2. There are numerous benefits when using CBD. It helped with my sleeping issues and pain management ( less discomfort ) since I have RA.
