I am finally feeling well enough to be a fully participating mother in my children’s life.

To this end, I have had a wonderfully full day. I have studied, completed paperwork, and worked through my “to do” list. I have watched my son play football and I have attended open house at the high school.

The football game was great but I am truly only feeling just well enough.

An odd choice of sitting on the “away” side of the stadium was made. This choice saved me from the heat because it shaved a good 15 degrees off of the 90 degree temperature. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this game and was so excited to see my son play. Our team won with a score of 41 to 6.

After the game, I went home and made sure that everyone had dinner before heading out to Open House at the high school.

The hubby and I had to split up since both boys are in high school.

I am so excited for them as they work their way through the remaining years of their secondary education.

It is amazing to me to think about my two little baby boys having turned into young men.
