What I do well as a mom.

I’m good at answering questions my children ask about the world and things they find interesting. I’m also good at supporting their perspectives and dreams.

What I learned from another mom.

My sister-in-law who I consider my parenting guru. She taught me when to let children choose their friends and when it’s essential for a parent to intervene.

Lesson learned from my child.

Patience and how not to sweat the small stuff and to live in the moment.

Mom I admire.

My good friend H Phoebe Huang Marzec from Taiwan. I admire her patience, composure and positive attitude with her children. I also admire the way she taught her children how to deal with life’s disappointments in a constructive way.
