Thank you.

These are two super important words.

The words THANK YOU are two words that we do not hear often enough. Click To Tweet

Thank you is also a word that we rarely see written.

Think about it, when is the last time that you got a handwritten thank you letter?

Up until a few months ago, it had been so long since I had gotten a handwritten thank you letter.

Both of these handwritten notes were for wedding gifts. So it would seem that, at least for weddings, the handwritten note is not completely gone.

However, it would be lovely to get that some written note of appreciation for birthday gifts, holiday gifts or any kind of gift… even the gift of time spent together.

So how does this happen when we are all so used to typing everything?

This is the neat thing.. you could break free from the keyboard and use actual real pen and paper.

However, this may seem downright archaic to you!!

Side Note – > Can you tell that we are on a Last Kingdom binge?

Back to scheduled programming (i.e. this blog post).

You want to be able to type your thoughts and just hit send!

Well here is the thing, a thank you letter service can help you to do just that.

I have long known that such services exist but there are a few things that I especially like about this particular one. For one, they send them for me.

I also think it is interesting that the letter is written with an actual pen but by a robotic arm of some sort.

However, the top reason that I am totally keen on this service is that you can use custom stationery that is custom to only you.

How cool is that?

I am thinking that this would also make a pretty cool holiday card to send as a company card. I will need to look into that for the hub.

In the meantime, I think about handwritten cards and am drawn to think of my mom, who passed just about one year ago. My cherished things from mom are not her jewelry or other such items that clearly have monetary value. My cherished keepsakes are the letters that she wrote to me.

If you need more reasons as to why you should send more handwritten letters just ask yourself…

How would I feel if I got a letter written from a loved ones heart?

  2. Thanks a lot for your insightful and thoughtful sharing and I do agree that we should always be mindful and grateful what the wonderful things that happen around us 🙂 – Knycx Journeying

  3. This is a nice reminder that yes, we should say thank you always. Personally, I prefer handwritten thank you letters too. I find it more sincere.

  4. We passed out prizes to about 20 students last week. One said thank you. We all noted it and praised him. Saying thank you does matter.
