The journey to self-discovery may be more accurately stated as “the reinvention of self”
If this journey of self-discovery really is more about reinvention then, “How many times do we reinvent ourselves ?”
First I was an embryo, then a fetus, a baby, a daughter, a sister.
Eventually, I added other titles such as student, brownie, girl scout, and college graduate.
Then came fiancee, wife, sister-in-law, and daughter-in-law.
Other reinvention of self-opportunities came such as mother, stay at home mother, and Auntie. To this mix, I add Holistic Nutrition Student, a student of Holistic Healthcare, and Herbalist student. Lest we forget, we also have vegetarian and vegan.
Now I wait to see if I will need yet another reinvention of self, another self-discovery.
This one of the scariest one of all, the one that we do not want to hear…. Cancer Patient.
I hope that I will be a beautiful butterfly instead…

Thank you, Change is fun 🙂
I’m sure you’ll be a beautiful butterfly!
Thank you
I know some people find change difficult but I find the way our roles change and involve throughout our lives very interesting.
I suppose that it can be both. 🙂
Change every day! I am excited in the future but I am loving the present.
That is a wonderful attitude, Kim.

I don’t believe people ever stop changing, growing and reinventing themselves. Whether by accident or on purpose, I think it’s a good thing! xoRach | http://www.rkcsouthern.com
I think it is a good thing too. I think that it helps people to stay excited about all that life has to offer.
I am excited for the day that I turn into a grandmother.
Is that going to be happening soon?
