Good Morning.
As I face the morning I think about our visitor from yesterday.
I think about what I shared and wonder if people would think that I was just a little too far “out there.”
I posted it anyway because I had promised to bring you all on my life journey with me.
My truth was rewarded with some of the most wonderful Facebook messages. In addition, there were many messages via email, text message and phone call. I heard story, after story, of incidences similar to mine. No doubt, these occurrences would make any person wonder if these visitations were indeed from departed loved ones.
I appreciate every single one of you for sharing those with me.
We did learn today that our bird was a Mourning Dove. This added to our fascination with this bird.
We found it difficult to believe that he had just mistakenly flown into our sliding glass door.
We found it very interesting that this bird had stayed so very long. He never flew away, regardless of how close I would get.
We were amazed that he ate the food that I provided.
With all of these thought-provoking facts, we could not help but be even more intrigued when we learned what type of bird he is. My younger son pointed it out perfectly. He told me that he thought it was absolutely perfect that we were visited by a Mourning Dove.
When I asked him why he simply, and eloquently, stated
“because Yeah Yeah died in the morning.”
