This is such a fabulous time of year when people are assessing where they have been and where they are going.
I am no different in my pursuit of a happy start to this new year.
This year I have big plans; just as I did last year and the year before that. Each year I work hard to achieve my goals and sometimes I succeed and sometimes I fail and I am okay with that.
You see, I truly believe that we are meant to stumble and we are meant to make mistakes, for without these experiences we will never test the limits of what we are capable of.
When I close my eyes for the last time in this amazing world I want to know that I pushed my limits and that I stepped out of my comfort zone.
It is important to me that I know that I did everything possible in the pursuit of my wildest dreams. After all, these dreams may not be wild at all.
I celebrate each success. I look forward to the failures so that I can learn my lessons. Improving in the areas that improvement is possible is important to me. I intend to also learn to release the rest to the universe.
Having learned so much in 2015, I look forward to learning the lessons that 2016 will offer.
What do you most look forward to in this beautiful year that lies ahead of us? What do you want to learn?

Hi Dr. Elise,
I love that you say you look forward to your failures! That says a lot of how your attitude is and how positive your outlook is. There’s so much to learn. I can’t wait to find out what I’ll learn this year. It’s only February and I’ve learned so much this past month.
Take care,
Lillian
I feel much the same as you. We are not very far into the new year and, yet, there are so many lessons that this beautiful year affords to us. I look forward to watching your journey and am here if you need any help.
