Shopping with men can really be quite amusing.

I took the men of the family out to buy some things we needed.

Unfortunately, the call of the football game was also heard loudly. However, I persevered.

We started this beautiful Sunday with a lovely lunch out with our middle son.

We continued our day with a visit to Home Depot to make some decisions on closet doors.

This is not super exciting but it is super necessary since our two youngest kids have not had closet doors in more years than I can remember. While there, we also bought a folding table and some chairs. Also not exciting, but necessary for both poker night and our upcoming Thanksgiving Gala.

From here, we are off to the furniture store to shop for bedroom furniture for our oldest son, and to get ideas for his sister.  New beds are definitely in order. The men and I exhaust those possibilities and begin to walk over to the dining room tables.

From there the trouble begins.

Can you guess what was in front of those comfy chairs?

Wait for it.

Can you guess it?

It is playing on a giant screen.

Okay, I am sure by now you have guessed.

FOOTBALL !!

And so the men sit. And sit. Then they sit some more.

Eventually, they decide that they should come and look at the tables before I choose without them.

So they visit me and we choose a kick butt dining set. I fill out the paperwork and they return to their chairs. While they sit in these comfy chairs, watching their beloved football game they are served cookies and drinks.

I think they may move into the store ……
