This month our inspirational mom is Marina Tagger.
Marina is a woman who makes up in heart what she lacks in stature. She always has a kind word and offer of support to all who surround her. This true even when she goes through her own difficulties.

Marina is active in her temple and in her kids’ schooling. She and her husband, Aaron, have been married for many years and support each other in all of their pursuits. These pursuits include the raising of two lovely children.

Eli Tagger is a sophomore in high school. He is 16 years old and an avid soccer player. When he was not accepted on the team for his high school of choice this mom did not stop. Instead, she advocated for her son while discussing options with him. Eventually deciding to switch schools so that her son could thrive. Marina now has to drive him to school each day rather than him attending a school that is just a few short miles from home. This effort has paid off as Eli has gone on to become a star soccer player having been invited to many prestigious events.
Sarah Tagger is a freshman in college. Marina and Sarah are extremely close but this did not prevent her from supporting Sarah’s pursuit of college in many far off locales. Marina shared that this was very difficult for her but she knew that she could not hold her daughter back from her dreams even though she would miss her terribly. In the end, Sarah chose a school that is not local but is close enough for a return weekend on special occasions. She was even able to come home and surprise her mom for Mother’s Day.
Marina also restores dolls. This is a huge passion of hers as well as a source of income.
Marina tells me that she finds great pleasure in restoring these treasures. She especially loves knowing that she has made someone very happy. She works tirelessly to return their treasure to them in pristine condition.
Marina is also a published writer and has taught theatrical arts for children.
We can look to Marina to find lessons in selflessness, passion and never giving up.
All that know Marina have only wonderful things to say about her. Her friends hold her in high esteem which, in fact, is why one has anonymously nominated her for this spotlight.
