Healthy Eating Can Improve Your Wellbeing
When it comes to wellbeing, there are many factors to consider, and diet is one of them. Although diet is only one wellbeing factor, it is an important one. It can affect the health of our entire body, including our psychology and appearance.
So if you want to thrive, consider your diet.
Improves Your Mood
It might not come as a surprise, but the food you eat affects your mood. Have you ever had the experience of eating high-fat foods like fast foods and felt a slump in your energy and your mood? That’s because fats increase the amount of cholesterol in the blood, making you sluggish.
On the other hand, if you eat a balanced diet with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, along with light proteins, it releases feel-good chemicals in the brain such as dopamine and serotonin. These are the same chemicals that are released when you exercise or use certain medications.
Reduces Anxiety
The brain might be the most important and complex organ in the body, but it works the same as all the others. If you don’t support the brain with the right nutrients and minerals, it doesn’t function the way you might expect. Of course, this can lead to anxiety and depression issues.
If you experience high levels of anxiety and depression, you have options. Some of these options include medication, while others include breathing exercises and physical exercise. Whatever approach you take, don’t forget to balance your process with some healthy food.
Improves Brain Function
Why survive when you can thrive? Of course, your brain needs certain vitamins and nutrients to function correctly, but if you want your brain to function at its maximum capacity, you will do a little more than taking some health food supplements and going for a run a few times a week.
Of course, these strategies also support a healthy brain and body, but if your pay more attention to the food you consume, you can ensure that your mind-body thrives. Whether you are vegan or you eat meat, make sure you consume whole foods and eat fish oils and this Thai red curry recipe.
Improves Energy
The human body evolved in a particular way; it wasn’t designed for the modern lifestyles we live, and this is mirrored in the poor health and illnesses that have started to appear over the years. If you want to improve your health and well-being, then align with lifestyles common to your ancestors.
Our ancestors were hunters and gatherers, sometimes, they ate a lot all at once, and other times they had small indeterminate meals. The body adapted to this over the years and learned to keep energy levels high. The point is that if you eat less, you experience higher energy levels.
Increases Confidence
When you look better, you feel better, and when you feel better, you have more confidence. In many ways, leading the best possible life is a skill, a way of learning about the feedback loops that make your life successful and living in line with them in a more conscious and adaptive way.

It is a dangerous loop as when we eat the processed food it often makes us feel lethargic nd even less like cooking nice meals.

Eating well 90% of the time should allow for extra allowances in eating a little more freely from time to time.
Healthy eating throughout so many facets of our lives. I definitely need to do a better job at focusing on what I put into my body. Exercise doesn’t cure everything like I would like it to. LOL
