Happy New Year!
My sincerest wish for you is that you have a wonderfully Happy New Year.
In 2017 I met so many amazing people.
This included people who were so inspired during 2017. I saw limits pushed and new heights reached.
Truly some incredibly inspiring stuff!
Forbes tells us that by February 1 our resolutions will fail.
A study by Richard Wiseman showed that 88% of all resolutions fail.
Let’s change that.
Forget making resolutions, instead make intentions.
If we make an intention then the whole schematic changes. The thought process changes and with that the first barrier is smashed.
[ctt template=”8″ link=”g77nN” via=”no” nofollow=”yes”]Consider what you wish for yourself, what your strongest desire is and how you intend to make it so.[/ctt]
Now is the perfect time to create intentions that will carry you through an amazing and happy new year.
Set specific goals, make your goals known and share them with friends. This will exponentially improve your success rate.
I have done just that. I encourage you to do the same.
Business:
- I will launch my new Holistic Lifestyle Coaching program with purpose and intention. This will include following the plan that I have laid out so as to stay on task.
- I will finish creating my new Parent Mentoring Workshop with purpose and intention. This will include following the plan that I have laid out so as to stay on task.
- My co-host and I will research and plan our VIP Intensive Weekend using the research plans we have outlined. (Co-host and I set this one together.)
Personal: (these are shorter term goals so as in keeping with the original intention of this monthly feature)
- The hubby and I will order window coverings for the first floor of our home and the second-floor flooring. (Hubby and I set this one together.)
- I will plan my calendar so as to have time for work AND play. To do this I will review upcoming commitments and be realistic regarding the time needed for each item.
- I will book hotels and transportation for upcoming trips that are already confirmed.
We can help each other to achieve.
We can help each other to succeed.
Indeed, we can help each other to live the lives that truly make our hearts sing.
Please share some of your intentions in the comments below.

You’re welcome.
Great article! Have a wonderful year, darling! ❤
I love using intentions to carry me through the year. In 2018, I intend to plan for more down time and just be more intentional with my time. No more endless Facebook scrolling.
That is a great one. A timer may be of great service.
Thank you for another lovely post. I am so glad I have found your website. My resolution for this year is to make my first income from affiliate sales on my website. I would also like to create my first ebook sales funnel.
Personally, I have signed up to complete the Walk 1000 Miles in 2018 challenge.
Those are great goals all around. I have confidence that you can do it. Let me know if you need help with resources.
I have a mixture of short term, weekly, quarterly and annual. Not too many, but enough to keep me motivated and going
I find that having a WORD for the year is helpful to me. I not only plan out my intentions, I also use the WORD to help guide my every decision. It has worked great the last few years!
I am so with you, Elise. Intentions. I find that resolutions turned goals have too much of a start/stop feel, not on-going or fluid. No wiggle room for life obstacles that we cannot predict.
Great way to divide priorities and know what should come first! I have enjoyed reading it!
Thank you.
Wow – writing them all out there in an article shows commitment! It’s a scary thing, but I love it! I need to do more sharing to create accountability! Thank you for the inspiring post and Happy 2018 to you!
Awesome post. This is some much needed advice for the new year. My intention this year is to remain positive! Thank you for sharing.
Positivity is always a good idea.

I’m setting up 3-month goals— not too long so I see the light at the end of the tunnel and don’t quit!
That is perfect.
That is perfect.
