A Vision of The Future. Is it about inspiration?

Arguably, inspiration verse motivation is really the difference between passion and logic.
Motivation provides you with the cognitive recognition to move forward in a project. As a result, you may then say, “I am motivated to get this task completed.”
Motivation provides the reason but inspiration is what makes you want to do it.
Inspiration is a feeling that presumably cannot be resisted.
Inspiration energizes you and provokes greatness.
It pushes you forward against all odds. It pushes you to achieve more, do more, and be more.
Inspiration is your partner, your lover, and your best friend.
Inspiration is there for you when motivation has run out.
When you are inspired to achieve your goals, you are inspired to take something ordinary and make it extraordinary. Click To Tweet
Inspiration will make you achieve all things, be all things, and do all things.
When we feel inspired, we do not even need motivation because our heart is bringing us in the right direction.
We intuitively know when something is right. We know that it will offer fulfillment and bring us to places that we never thought possible.
Motivation tells us that we will get the task completed.
To be truly blessed, you will have motivation and inspiration in your corner.
Motivate your mind to achieve and as a result inspiration will find you. Click To Tweet
Inspiration can be found anywhere.
You may find it in your dreams.
You may find it in your conscious or subconscious.
Perhaps, you will find it as you are hiking in the wilderness or while you are commuting on a busy train.
You may find it in meditation, in church, or in quiet reflection.
You may find it in conversation with a loved one or perhaps, even a stranger.
Ultimately, you may find it in another person, an animal or within yourself.
There are no rules to where and when inspiration may hit.
It is, in fact, a very personal thing and consequently can be completely unpredictable.
Give yourself permission to be open to the universe.
Allow the sun to shine on you and in you.
Allow your mind to accept life’s possibilities.
Permit your mind to accept what your heart is telling you to be true.
It is in this that you will find inspiration.
Inspiration is there. It will find you. You just need to let it.
As a consequence, you will be a happier and more productive person because of it.
Perhaps I have inspired you to share a bit about what inspires you…

This was timely – my husband and I have been talking a lot about various intentions we both have but didn’t pinpoint the vocabulary needed to clarify this part. Very helpful! Thanks for sharing with Party in Your PJs!
You are so welcome. I am quite pleased that it was so helpful.
Nothing better than Inspiration. When I get inspired, watch out because I know I’ll get on what seems like an effortless roll!
I love that more than you know.
What a great inspirational post! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,

Thank you for reading and commenting.
Great article and I achieve more of my goals when I’m inspired. Thank you for sharing with us this week at Celebrate Your Story and we hope you will join us again next week.
You’re very welcome. Thank you also for all that you do.
I think the mindset is very important when it comes to motivation. I know if I want to excel at something I have to be in the right place mentally and then motivation comes easier. As soon as I see the results I am then inspired to continue. The two go hand in hand. Thanks for sharing with #TriumphantTales, hope to see you again next week.
I agree, they absolutely do go hand in hand.
Interesting post, thank you! I’ve never really stopped to think about the difference between motivation and inspiration but this made complete sense. I also love the line “Allow the sun to shine on you and in you.” Wise words! #DreamTeam
Thank you. Those are an Elise original. 🙂
Nice post. i think you just ave to start doing it – not letting all the excuses stand in the way….#dreamteam
I agree completely.
Motivation is sometimes hard to come by. At times like that, I have to “just do it!” The more I do it, the more motivated I become… and suddenly I find inspiration everywhere! It would be nice if inspiration would come more often and more easily, but at least I know what to do. 🙂
Oftentimes when we “Just Do It” we do find that the body and mind become quite cooperative. Confidence actually has an extreme effect on performance. Stephanie L Stolz of Missouri Western University conducted a study in 2009 in which she used made-up questionnaires in an effort to find the effect of negative and positive reinforcement in mundane tasks. This study offers proof to this very fact.
Hi Elise,
Interesting article.
I feel like we too often “wait” for inspiration before we’ll start doing something. Motivation, on the other hand, can move us to action with or without being inspired.
I think anyone who’s ever done something they were inspired to do, though, knows that the effort always seems less and the results more.
