Frank Prather is a strong supporter of the United We Parent movement.

He blogs about his experience as a middle age first-time dad and describes himself better than anyone else can. He starts with this:

Born in Bethesda, MD to teenage parents I was raised in an upper lower class broken home by my mom and dad, then my mom, then my mom and my step-dad, then my mom, and often by my grandmother. You have all of them to thank and/or blame for the the man/child/living deity that you see before you today.

I had a few more questions…

How does United We Parent’s mission to unify, strengthen, and inform the parenting community align with your business?

Nothing is more important than being a good parent. No one accomplishes that in a vacuum so sharing knowledge and offering support is hugely beneficial to achieving that goal. UWP is a forum/event that facilitates the process.

What is your most proud parenting related achievement? How did it affect you and/or your business?

When I ask my son, “Who loves you the most?” he responds, “Daddy”, 100% of the time. Instilling that feeling in him is my proudest parenting related achievement. It fills me with an overwhelming sense of joy.

When you aren’t working, what do you like to do for fun?

I workout, ride motorcycles and perform standup comedy, but mostly I spend time with my family.

What excites you about the United We Parent Inaugural event?

Any event that brings parents together for the greater good of the children is exciting.

[ctt template=”8″ link=”Va070″ via=”yes” nofollow=”yes”]Supporting each other to be the best parents we can be is an admirable goal.[/ctt]

Who should attend the United We Parent Event? Why?

All parents.

[ctt template=”8″ link=”tBgqG” via=”yes” nofollow=”yes”]We can learn a great deal from each other and apply the best of it to our own lives.[/ctt]

What else do you want us to know about you?

I’m literally the greatest parent in the history of parenting.

Don’t forget to visit him on Social Media. He can be found on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram in addition to on the blog and on the Superior Podcast.

  1. I concur I think that having parental support from other parents makes parenting a little it less stressful. I confide in my bestfirend a lot about parenting issues. All of her kids are grown now so she provides a lot of peer support for me.

  2. All the best for the event with such an amazing concept. I loved the interview with Frank Prather. You guys are doing great job. Thanks for sharing. 🙂

It’s refreshing to see a father blog about parenting and getting so involved with his kid. Love it!

  4. Is this event for real!! You must be great parents to think of an event like this.. nowadays bonding is the thing children miss and we have to make sure they get to experience it

  5. This looks like such a fantastic event! I love hearing from other bloggers who also have children: while our blog topics might not be the same, I always learn something from them about their approach to blogging and their work-parenting balance. He sounds like he is going to be a great speaker!

  6. What a wonderful event concept. I’d never heard of the United We Parent conference before. I really enjoyed reading this interview with Frank Prather. As parents there are always those special times when it’s super useful to reach deep inside and pull up our inner comedian. There are so many parenting situation where it often helps!
