The First Annual Pacific Wine & Food Classic took place on August 19 and 20th at Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort.
From beginning to end everything about this event was an absolutely top-notch event.
This gastric celebration featured 50+ amazing chefs including Food Network’s celebrity chef and judge Simon Majumdar, host of the inaugural classic.
This inaugural event was kicked off by a splendid dinner hosted by Simon at Fig & Olive. Tomato Sundae, Seared Foie Gras, and Sweet Corn Soup were the delightful starters to a wonderful meal. The entree was guests choice of Day Boat Sea Scallops or Prime Beef. Pineapple Mille- Feuille offered a beautiful palate cleansing finishing touch. White chocolate mousse with roasted pineapple topped with pink peppercorn makes the divine masterpiece of Pineapple Mille- Feuille.
Simon also hosted an after party with Fork Reporter, Neil Saavedra.

Isn’t a fruity light margarita so delicious? I like it so much better than the traditional.
Gee how wonderful! Great looking photos of the food and drinks on the beach!
In Ottawa they have large food tasting events with many local chefs that I have been to but nothing as beautiful as this!
This one was definitely kicked up a beautiful notch. I love all the local foods and, local chefs.

It really is so much fun. If you ever have the opportunity you should definitely go.
I love these types of events. The watermelon salsa looked divine! The last one we went to was a combo of a beer and food festival in Denver. They made food using amazing beer and had pairings. It was wonderful!
That sounds like a lot of fun. I may need to hit it up.
Love Food and Wine Festivals, this one really sounded like a great event. Checking out their website.

Everything is wonderful with watermelon. YUMMY!
Wow, that event looks amazing. We went to a chocolate expo once, it was a disaster. Too many crowds with long lines. Your event looks lovely.
I hate to hear that. Events that are overcrowded are not fun. I love that this event is not at all like that.
