Finding The Right Partner To Build An Empire With
With a lot of ambition and knowing your self-worth comes the realization that not everyone is built to keep up with your dreams. In fact, you might struggle to find the right partner for you. You work long hours, or at the very least, deep work in the hours you do work; you make the most of your off time because it matters, and you have standards and boundaries.
So, when you are looking for a partner to build an empire with, what should you consider?
None negotiables
You have probably heard it a hundred times or more: settling isn’t going to give you the relationship you want – and it won’t make you happy either. Settling means you haven’t considered what you need long-term or how a relationship might look five years along.
Sit down and think about what you really want. Do you have time for a real relationship, or do you have limited time where a sugar daddy would be better? Write down the things that you aren’t willing to compromise on, and hold on to them.
What do you value?
You value your time, your work, your family, sure. But what are your other values? Do you believe in 100% honesty at all times? Are you willing to give up your perfectly planned weeks to make room for someone else? What is it that you value and want to see in another perfect?
Try to keep in mind that you shouldn’t be looking for values that you don’t have, while your partner shouldn’t be a complete mirror – they should reflect back what you hold up as important.
Financial Match?
This one can be a tricky topic because usually, one of the people in a relationship will be the higher earner. More often, the highest earning person in a household is now the woman – and there are a few issues with this (but not for you!).
Some men get concerned when they aren’t the big earner, which can mean they act out. And some men will be looking to make the most of the money in the bank. High-achieving women do need to consider how their finances look and make sure to protect theirs where it makes sense to do so.
Support
People with big ambitions need people who not only have their own big ambitions but people who are willing to support them when they need it. A true partner will be your cheerleader through all of the work struggles and business struggles that you have and be the first one to crack open the champagne when you succeed.
But true support isn’t just words; it’s holding down the fort, doing the admin, washing, talking things through, making drinks, and acts of support so that you know you have someone who has your back to the fullest. And another important one? Learning how to be the best versions of yourselves together and apart.
Building a successful empire for yourself is hard, and building it with another throws other things into the mix.
Finding The Right Partner To Build An Empire With Is complicated but so rewarding.

It takes time to build the relationship but it is so worth it.
My hubby and I have owned our own business for 25 years. There have definitely been bumps in the road, but he is the perfect partner for me!
Wonderful. When you work so closely with your spouse there are certainly learning curves but it can be a wonderful circumstance.
I used to earn more than my husband too, but now we both almost have equal pay, so no problems here
It sounds as if you have it worked out in a way that works well for you.

Stephanie, I very much appreciate your support.
I think we realize this as we get older as far as finding the right match. These are all good things to be thinking about when it comes to a partner.
The way we view things definitely changes as we get older.
