How To Choose The Right Eyeglass Frame For Your Face

Eyeglasses are not just a necessity for people who need vision correction.

Glasses have also become a fashion statement. The good news is that there are now more options than ever when it comes to choosing the right eyeglass frame for your face.

This blog post will discuss some of the latest trends in eyeglass frames and how to choose the right one for you.

Read on for tips on finding the perfect pair of glasses that make you look and feel your best! It is a form of self-care, afterall.

The Trends

What are some of the latest trends in eyeglass frames?

One trend is oversized frames, which have become increasingly popular over time. This can be seen with celebrities such as Nicole Kidman, who wears large rectangular lenses or square-shaped glasses.

Another trend gaining popularity lately includes rimless frames like those worn by Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West (both wearing Ray-Ban RB4075).

A third trend worth noting is coloured eyeglass frames – another favourite among celebs! For example, Jennifer Aniston recently wore bright blue lenses while attending an event at Soho House London last month. She paired them with a black dress and matching shoes for added drama!

What’s more interesting about these new frames is that they are not just for women. Men’s eyeglasses have also been incorporating more colour into their frames, such as red and green. So whether you’re a man or woman, there is definitely a trend out there for you!

The Face and The Frame

How do you choose the right frame?

The best way to find the perfect pair of glasses is to first consider your face shape. There are six different face shapes: oval, round, square, diamond, heart-shaped, and rectangular.

Once you know your face shape, it will be easier to determine which styles of glasses will look best on you. For example: if you have an oval-shaped face, pretty much any style of glasses will look good on you – from oversized to rimless.

On the other hand, if you have a round face, it is best to avoid round frames and instead go for angular frames that will help elongate your face. If you’re unsure about frame shape, then look at the article entitled “How does Warby Parker at-home try-on work”. Warby Parker has an excellent option to try any 5 frames for five days. This will allow you to see and feel the different shapes and sizes of eyeglass frames throughout your daily routine.

The Head Size

Once you know your face shape, another essential factor to consider when choosing your eyeglass frame is the size of your head. Frames that are too small or too large can make you look disproportionate.

It’s also necessary to take into account the bridge of your nose. Glasses with low bridges might rest awkwardly on your noses. Conversely, those with high bridges might make your eyes appear smaller.

And finally, don’t forget about temple length! Longer temples will give more coverage and balance to shorter faces, while more temporary temples will do the opposite.

Take Care

How should I care for my glasses?

When it comes time to wash your eyeglasses, make sure they’re dry before putting them back into their case. Water spots can form on lens surfaces if you put them back into their case while they are wet!

If you use a microfiber cloth glasses usually come very clean. The cloth will help to prevent scratches, smudges and other marks from being left behind while cleaning your glasses!

Love It

Your eyewear is the one thing you see all day, every day. So you deserve to love your glasses!

  1. This is very helpful for those who are getting glasses. Like with hairstyles, makeup trends, glasses can give you a different look based up on shape pf your face. I’ve always had contact lenses but thinking about getting glasses lately. Thanks for the tips.

  2. I don’t know what glasses are good for my face and I’m glad I read this article. Now I know how I’m going to pick one.
