Elementary School Comes To An End

The kids are off to school and I am left to reflect on the summer that has passed and all the exciting things in our future.

I no longer have any kids in elementary school. This is a fact that makes me very happy.

My kids went to a terrific elementary school and we all have plenty of great memories from our time there. However, our time was over. My kids have grown and are ready for new experiences.

I am ready to stop driving three kids to three schools.

Now I have three kids going to two schools and a half-dozen activities. Shoot I think it may be closer to a dozen, but who can even keep track anymore?

I now have a child in intermediate school and two in high school.

Life is definitely changing.

Each one has to consider everything they do and every choice they make, but one especially so as college is in the very near future.

Maybe we should have stayed in elementary  ….. things were definitely easier there.
