Better Health does not have to be difficult to achieve.
1. Avoid M.S.G.
We commonly hear of it in Chinese food but it, in fact, shows up in crackers, salad dressings, and most processed food.
It is important to read your labels carefully so as to avoid harmful ingredients. Click To Tweet
Note that since MSG is actually a natural substance, the food labels that list “natural flavoring” may have MSG as an ingredient. Yeast extract, autolyzed yeast, and hydrolyzed proteins are additional ingredients that can act like MSG.

Stainless steel or bamboo straws are also great options.
4. Slow Down.
We have this deep desire to be successful and we feel a strong pull to be all for everyone.

6. Personalize your strategy with practical healthcare choices
If you’re going to look after your health well, a big part of what’ll make that possible is choosing the right healthcare providers and professionals. If you sustain a back injury, finding the right help to fix it is key. Don’t just speak to a general doctor, seek out a specialist instead. You can find an auto injury chiropractor that’ll specialize in helping you. And the same applies to whatever specific issue you might be experiencing.
Undoubtedly, all of the steps mentioned can be implemented by virtually anybody. Nonetheless, it’s important to remember that no two people are the same. This is why your journey towards improved mental health should be tailored to your needs.
A deeper understanding of your mental health is vital. Exploring neurofeedback treatment for anyone with anxiety, depression, ADHD, or any other issue can be of great help. Clearly, knowledge is power.
The increased insight can only help guide any subsequent medications, therapies, and lifestyle changes. A generic approach will result in only limited progress.

I now eat at home 100% of the time! Agree with all of your points. Walking and general exercise everyday is my go to. Don’t have room in my house for plants, but perhaps I need to make room, after reading this!
Kate, even the smallest of plants can make a big difference.
So great that I can learn some tips to improve health from this post. Thanks for sharing! I will try to apply those.
I look forward to hearing how they work out for you.
These are all great tips, thank you for sharing and encouraging us to live healthier.
You are very welcome.
Cool ideas on how to stay healthy. I too have started using more of glass or steel instead of plastic in my day-to-day life.
Thank you for doing your part to help our world.
OK. I agree that replacing plastic straws is good for the environment. Not quite so sure that glass straws are an improvement- not only due to breakage, but to the fact that many materials adhere to glass – so cleaning becomes a critical function.
The breakage factor may surprise you. I had been worried about the same thing but have not ever broken one. The cleanliness does take an extra step.
I think sometimes slowing down is the best answer. We need to really assess our health and have a mental break. Also less gadget time!
I love that you called out the gadgets. It seems that we are always plugged in.
I love all of these tips and need to start implementing more of them. I recently have gotten house plants and I can tell you nasa is not lying. My mood has been so much better.
I would love to see pictures or hear more.
Great health tips, thank you! I am always looking for information on how to better improve my health and way of living.
Fabulous. I look forward to hearing what you have added to your repertoire.
I love these tips because they are simple but powerful!
Simple changes can have major impact.
I love the strategies that you wrote. Personally, what I’m doing now is unloading the negativity from the past. I thought I forgot them but apparently, no. So what I do is write about them. I found that writing about those past experiences has helped me move forward. I should’ve done that a long time ago.
Journaling is an excellent way to get in touch with your inner self and to be honest, accountable, and present to yourself.
Agree that we should personalise our strategy. I used to be so pressured by not taking care of my mental health the way that others are (especially with everyone posting on social media how they are doing “self care”) but this post reminded me that each person has their own thing that works for them.
Meki, I am so sorry that people tried to take your control. Just because something works for one person, or for several people, does not mean it will work for another. Each person is a unique being and that should be honored. I am so happy that you have found what works for you.
A simple list that will make a huge impact indeed. The best thing about having a simple list is that it makes them doable. Unfortunately I will not be able to avoid MSG since I am very dependent on food deliveries.
Thankfully many restaurants are cutting back on this ingredient.
such a great tips for our lifestyle.interesting i didn’t know about Glass straws before. Thanks for sharing with us.
I love glass straws. Everything tastes better 🙂
I try to limit my use of plastics in every area of my life. I never use disposable plates or dishware, and I have a few stainless steel and glass water bottles, as well as straws.
You are doing many things to help the environment.
I do my best to buy products that have very little packaging. It’s almost impossible to find them with none, but I figure less is better than more.
You are taking an important step to cut back on waste.
Navigating healthy choices in the grocery store
Cancer patients undergo a lot of body changes due to consistent chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiotherapy sessions. While it is essential to make a list of the prescribed medications, visit the doctor timely for follow-ups, and maintain a healthy diet, there is a lot that you can do at home. To begin with, the grocery list needs immediate attention. The grocery store provides you with racks after racks of food items. But you must decide to be a smart buyer and invest in precisely what the body needs to recover faster. Continue reading ahead to find a customized grocery list for all types of cancer.
