Using The Law of Attraction Effectively

Herman from Mystic Mankind joins us today to discuss the Law of Attraction. Mystic Mankind is a blog dedicated to using mysticism in understanding day-to-day life struggles and their connection to an individual’s growth and his journey towards enlightenment.

Here we discuss the law of attraction and why it may not work for some people.

Using The Law of Attraction Effectively

By “Herman”

The first time I began writing, I was a little skeptical about whether I should talk about the Law of Attraction.  In my experience, a lot of people use the Law of Attraction for very trivial things in life. I somehow felt that the Law of Attraction had become just another way for people to fulfill their own selfish desires.

Over the years my views have changed and I’ve noticed a lot of people use the Law of Attraction in order to move beyond ordinary, mundane life.

One of the problems that people face in using the Law of Attraction is the fact that manifestation seems life an arduous process.

Procrastination:

Procrastination is one of the major things that get in the way of people being able to manifest what they desire.

The Law of Attraction is not just a thought oriented process, but an action-oriented process as well.

Of course, we all need to start with a thought, but then, do not be stuck there for too long.

The process of thinking can be very pleasurable especially when you are thinking beautiful thoughts of attracting that beautiful partner, or making millions of dollars and so on. This pleasurable feeling of thought is what gets most people hooked.

Thinking then becomes not only a habit but an addiction. This is where procrastination begins.

[ctt template=”8″ link=”ZhdO1″ via=”yes” nofollow=”yes”]Procrastination is basically an outcome of excessive thinking.[/ctt]

In my own life, there were times when I had everything in place. I knew exactly what I needed to do in order to attract a certain thing. Unfortunately, I fell into the trap of excessive thinking which thereby delayed the manifestation of this thing that I wanted.

A lot of people talk about inspired action, but when you get so addicted to thoughts, you refrain from taking that inspired action.

An inspired action is an indication that it is time to act.

[ctt template=”8″ link=”D1YQ5″ via=”yes” nofollow=”yes”]The heart never procrastinates. It is the mind that procrastinates.[/ctt]

Initially, the mind is very useful in the process of attracting, but you need to listen to your heart ultimately in order for you to see a tangible version of your desire.

Leaving the past behind:

Most people directly dive into the process of attracting a certain situation or circumstance without getting rid of the old mindset. However, the old mindset had been engineered in such a way that success is quite hard to achieve.

[ctt template=”8″ link=”z_3Cd” via=”yes” nofollow=”yes”]Albert Einsteins states. “We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.”[/ctt]

Before you start applying the Law of Attraction, it is important that you take the time to be present and get rid of any negativity that may have happened in the past.

Meditation is one of the best ways to let go of the past.

Once you have worked through anything from your past that may be holding you back attracting your desired circumstance will be much easier.

  1. Hello, This is a very nice article. Here so nicely describe this important article. It is very helpful for everyone. Thank you for sharing this valuable article.

  2. Hello Elise! It was so nice to meet Herman here today talking about a subject I love! Just as Donna has stated, as I was reading my head was just a nodding!! Yes!! Yes!! It is so crazy! We know what we want, Right? Yet we somehow get stuck NOT doing the much needed things we need to do to get us there! I love how he mentions meditation, perhaps it is time for me to learn how to do this without falling asleep.. LOL

    Great Share.
    Thank You
    Chery :))

  3. Hi Elise,

Thanks so much for introducing us to Herman. As I read along, I was nodding my head yes yes yes! The LOA is a funny thing. We can use our minds to attract things for the greatest good, but we have to take action upon it. Things don’t just appear unless we work toward it. It is a powerful thing to have mind and matter working together. Indeed, it can be done, but it requires us not to procrastinate.

  4. It isn’t always easy to let go of negativity, but it is freeing when you are able to do it. I really like that Albert Einstein quote, I’m going to try to remember it.

  5. I can relate about being hesitant to write about LOA. I am an avid listener to Abraham-Hicks and it does take time to fully understand. I agree that meditation is an excellent way to rid of negativity. Also, simply stop talking about a negative thing in our life helps stop negativity.

  6. Hello Elise Mam,

    Great information up here 🙂

Thanks for introducing Herman, on your web site. Looking forward to see his page “Mystic Mankind”.

Very much true, it’s very hard for some of us to get rid of the past and focus on the present and future. Sometimes the past is stuck so hard that many people can not overcome it and it keeps draining them from the inside. To see the better future, we need to let go it.

We should surround our selves from the positive vibes so that we can stay happy, motivated and focused towards our goals.
Meditation and exercises are one of the best ways to keep ourselves charged up and get going.

    Thanks for the share.

    Shantanu.
