Family Times At Aquarium Of The Pacific

Today we spend another lovely family day at Aquarium Of The Pacific.

We are finishing our Aquarium Of The Pacific membership the same way that we started.

The Aquarium Of The Pacific used to be known as Long Beach Aquarium due to its location in Long Beach, California. This is not our first membership and were actually members under the previous name.

We were members even before our youngest child was born and many times since. We likely will be members again.

I absolutely love how relaxed the hubby gets when visiting. Accordingly, the family also relaxes and has fun.

I find myself newly interested and reading everything I can in regards to all of the research that this terrific place has to offer.

It is also quite fascinating to think about the fact that as my family has grown so has the Aquarium Of The Pacific and the surrounding areas.

The aquarium opened in June of 1998, we first attended not long after that. There were just a few exhibits and not much else.

Now there is more than 11,000 animals and 50 exhibits. It is actually the fourth most attended aquarium in the nation.

There are many delightful places to sit and relax, many animals to delight children and adults alike plus a full-service cafeteria called Cafe Scuba. At Cafe Scuba you will find reasonably priced great tasting food.

I highly recommend visiting the Aquarium of The Pacific.

The easiest parking is just across the street where you will find additional dining options in addition to shopping and entertainment.

Visit the Aquarium Of The Pacific website for more information.

  1. This looks like me such fun!!! We travel to California quite often and yet we’ve never been here…. I’m adding this the next time we head to California! Thanks for sharing! 🙂

  2. The Wordy Mom

I’m an aquarium fan, too! I could sit in front of the jelly fish for hours. In fact, if I had a million dollars, I’d have my own aquarium wall full of these wonderful neon creatures. Or maybe not. That would probably be cruel, but I love the idea!
