Dear Mom,
Life is a wonderful journey and through it all you have been there to give me advice, guidance, support and love. For this I so appreciate you.
I have many wonderful memories of my childhood from boating almost every weekend, fun swim parties, Mother/Daughter shopping days, Disney World, that crazy trip to Canada and, of course, there was Intercourse, Pennsylvania.
As a mom there are many things that you sacrifice but you always strive to do what you believe is best for your children.
My life is a beautiful one and you gave to me the foundation on which to build it. Every happiness and every time that things did not work as expected allow for important life lessons. My life has not been short of these lessons and that is a wonderful thing. It has allowed for me to grow from child to woman, wife and mother.
Your grandchildren, son-in-law and I have enjoyed so many happy times with you.
We look forward to our next adventure with you and creating many more happy memories.
Thank you, Mom. I love you.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, aunts and those that act like moms, and help moms.
With love,
Elise

This post caught my eye, long past Mother’s Day, and it’s great that you have written it. I hope you showed it to your Mum.
My Mum died 18 months ago and I miss her so badly. I’m not sure if I ever told her how much I loved her despite our little disagreements. I hope she knew.
Hopefully anyone who is lucky enough to have such a wonderful Mum as I had, still alive, will cherish her and let her know she is loved and appreciated.

Joy, I am sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. I have lost a father and it certainly does hurt deeply.
I made sure that my mom saw this blog post. I want her to know how much I appreciate her.
Thank you for sharing your heart.
Totally love this blog post. What n awesome tribute to your mom
Thank you very much.
What a wonderful tribute to your mum on Mother’s Day. Memories are so very precious and it’s great to be able to look back and enjoy those moments all over again.
Enjoy the journey!
Thank you. I agree completely. Time is fleeting and it is wonderful to have joyous memories to look back on.
aww this was cute! We had mothers day here a while ago now.. It’s great to appreciate our moms.. Although we should perhaps show our appreciation every day not just once a year.. right? Sometimes when our parents are so far away we should always try and visit when we can and enjoy them more and more.
Thanks for the reminder! 🙂
William
Yes, I agree that we should show appreciation every day but I will admit that the Mother’s Day extravaganza is pretty darn fun.
